Among Us Colors Guide; Tell Me Who You Are

Someone might wonder why we’re writing about the Among Us colors guide. Stay a while and pay attention… Among Us is a game that has received a lot of praise in 2020 and has gained a lot of popularity all around the world. If you’ve ever played a game, you’ll understand why the game has millions of downloads. No matter how many times you play it, the game’s deduction and perceptual techniques keep it interesting.

There is, however, always more to a game than meets the eye. Each player can design their character, and it’s been widely assumed that different Among Us colors have different meanings (like the Red is sus memes we’ve all seen). Is Red, on the other hand, truly sus? Why is Green always a Crewmember, even if he’s murdered me twice in a row? Learn more about the colors in Among Us colors guide in HiGift and their meanings!

Among Us Colors

Among Us Colors

Only 12 of the 14 colors in Among Us can be selected and changed by the players. Let me describe them in greater detail below, let’s explore!

  • Red
  • Green
  • Blue
  • Yellow
  • Black
  • White
  • Cyan (Light Blue)
  • Lime (Light Green)
  • Brown
  • Pink
  • Orange
  • Purple

These are 12 colors we encounter while playing Among Us. There are two extra colors in the game that players cannot actively choose but are present nonetheless:

  • Fortegreen
  • Tan

When a player has just connected, Fortegreen is utilized in the green and displays the player’s name as “???”. The Tan hue is the only one that has been eliminated. The main reason for its removal is that colorblind persons couldn’t tell the difference between other colors and Tan, making the game more difficult to play.

Blue, Green. Red, Pink

Is Red Always Sus in Among Us?

Red is not always the impostor, contrary to common opinion. There have been a slew of memes and posters claiming Red to be the major impostor, however this isn’t the case. Every color has the same opportunity to be the good guy (or the bad guy, depends on how you see it).

It’s often assumed that Red was picked as the impostor to oppose Green, who is frequently depicted as the main Crewmate – which isn’t necessarily the case.

Among Us Coloring Guide; Blue, The Incognito

Blue is on the opposite side of the boat from Red. They are usually never suspected, and they may take advantage of any situation and try to help others while carrying out their (often cunning) agenda. They may be entertaining, but never put your trust in a blue – they know what they’re doing!

Green; The Emergency Meetings Caller

Green is a cunning individual who is always on the lookout for opportunities. They are frequently mistaken for impostors and may even be kicked out on suspicion of being one. When left alone, however, they know exactly what to do and how to use the situation to their advantage.

Pink; The First Victim

Because Pink doesn’t always appear to be a threat, many players will kill her at the first opportunity. Whether they’re a Crewmate or an Impostor, they’re usually the first to leave.

Orange, Yellow, Black. White

Among Us Coloring Guide; Orange, The Coin Flip

When you play with an Orange, you will either get the best or the worst player in the world; there is no between. They could be incredibly serene or the most aggressive impostor you’ve ever met, and they could have some really valid logic. They’ll be remembered for a long time!

Yellow; The Leader, The Lone Wolf

Players in yellow don’t always leave a lasting impact. They are reclusive creatures who like to avoid contact with everything and everyone. Yellow is virtually never the first one to go, whether they are a crewmate or an impostor; in fact, some people may forget there is a Yellow!

Black; Players’ Most Voted

If you had to choose a sus with your eyes closed, you’d probably pick Black 7 out of 10 times. Players are more likely to believe Black is the impostor than they actually are! They do make it out alive on rare occasions, but no matter what, they are always fashionable!

White; The Failed Detective

White players are either manning the cams, attempting sabotage, or simply loitering in the vents. Unfortunately, because they don’t always perform what they’re intended to, they’re also some of the first players to be replaced. You will occasionally come across a player who will leave you speechless with their smart strategies, but this is a rare occurrence.

Among Us Colors Guide; Purple, The Pseudo-sus

Purple is comparable to Red in several ways, yet they are almost never suspected (even if they are a fake). They were portrayed as one in a couple of promotional materials, and that was enough to get this pseudo-sus up and running.

Brown; Trustworthy Pal

Even if they’re an impostor, Brown is almost always a good man. They’re nice but not pushy, helpful but not overbearing, and they know where they’re supposed to be (except when they get killed). But all of that vanishes when they stab you in the back when you’re least expecting it!

Cyan; The Pro

Almost every Cyan player I’ve encountered has excelled at the game. They know what they’re supposed to do and don’t make mistakes when it comes to making key judgments. It’s as if you have a mini-brain on your team, if they are actually on your side. Also, don’t refer to them as blue.

Lime; Cyan’s Dark Side

Lime players, like Cyan, know what they’re doing. They do it, though, in such a way that you want to throw them out of the ship and into space. If it weren’t for all the hard work they’ve put in to earn their spot… Of course, there are regular Limes as well, but they’re hard to come by!

To summarize, it was Among Us Colors Guide and you may find all the colors here. Which of these is your personal favorite? Personally, I’m a Brown or Purple player. When it comes to the Red is Sus, I couldn’t agree more (if you know what I’m talking about)!
